Promoting art and art-making
I strongly believe that art saves the world. It is not only for professional artists. It brightens life, creates meaning, joy, and hope. It builds new, beautiful worlds.
My name is Maria and I am passionate about art in different techniques. Since it is very hard for me to choose only one way to express myself, I have collected different works created using different means and I am sharing them with you.
I use art as a way to explore the world and myself. I love beauty and I believe that art teaches us to appreciate life and the moment.
When I draw, people ask: are you an artist? When I dance: are you a dancer? When I speak Belarusian: are you a teacher? My profession is structural engineer. Every time I receive these questions, I am puzzled.
Am I an artist? Not by profession. But yes. I am.
And that is why I created this website.
Would you like to know more about me and my artistic journey?
My story
My Purpose
On this website, I aim to share my story, my experience, and my vision—to inspire others and to find new possibilities and new people who share my passion. This is a way not only to reach out to others, but also to express myself and learn more about myself and the ways I can serve the world.

Artworks
Since my childhood, I have had a very strong desire to create, to draw. However, I have always wanted to create something meaningful. That stopped me more often than not from creating and exploring.
Only when I allowed myself to draw and create without any deep meaning or specific purpose—then I began to see meaning in every work of art that I have been creating.

Visit Artworks to explore my creations by medium.

BIM Technology
My professional background is in Civil Engineering. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a modern approach to building design—creating a digital twin of a future building that contains all the information needed for construction and maintenance. This technology lets you see what a building will look like before the first stone is laid.
I was fortunate to work with BIM in the Netherlands, where I took part in bridge design.

Digital Design
I have been fascinated with digital art since I took a course at CIDR digital art school in Minsk. There, I learned how to work with Photoshop and Illustrator, the basics of composition and color, working with mock-ups, flat graphics, line art techniques, typography, creating patterns, digital drawing, and much more.

I believe that a picture says so much more than words. So I used my knowledge of digital art to create stunning infographics, as well as colorful, vibrant, and interesting presentations, brochures, and posters.

Motion Design
I taught myself motion design. With my background in digital graphics, creating animations felt like a natural next step. It gave me the freedom to express information in a more engaging way. I used motion graphics frequently at work—creating explanatory and marketing videos for the company I was with.

Furniture
Last but not least, I like to refurbish old furniture. I love the freedom it gives me. I like to reuse things. I see beauty in old furniture—it has history. I feel like I give it new life, and it starts to breathe.
I mostly use vibrant colors and geometric shapes.
